The DC/BR participates in the "APSGI Meetings"

Abidjan, December 12, 2024 – The Central Depository/Settlement Bank (DC/BR) is participating in the 2nd edition of the "APSGI Meetings," which opened this Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the Maison de l’Entreprise in Abidjan, under the theme "With the stock market, invest today for a better life tomorrow."

Following the official opening ceremony, which featured speeches and a ribbon-cutting, the officials began their tour of the exhibition stands, starting with the DC/BR booth, which attracted many participants. Mr. Guimba Sylla, Director of the DC/BR Operations Department, will be the guest speaker at the special session of this edition on Friday, December 13, 2024, in the afternoon.

During this session, he will discuss the DC/BR’s contribution to the development of the regional financial market and its key role in driving the market’s digital transformation through ongoing strategic projects. This edition, bringing together key players in the regional financial market ecosystem, features panel discussions and thematic workshops.

Topics covered include employee savings, real estate financing challenges, alternative solutions for SME financing, the importance of the pension system, and the role of fintech in facilitating stock market access.

Organized by the Professional Association of Brokerage Firms (APSGI), this event will conclude on Friday, December 13, 2024.
